- regarding Library Master and other such programs Itamar stresses the
- fact that data are compressed. Well, that looks like a disadvandage
- but must not necessarily be such. Because calling a long nbbibNNN.dat
- file and editing it can be a rather dangerous affair. On the other
- hand compressed files may be inspected. I use AskSam beside Ibid and
- switch into the .ask files from NB via Buerg's new LIST which lets you
- mark stuff and export it to a file. This is then called from NB, stripped
- of its junk, and used. With a task switcher or OS/2 a genuine all-purpose
- data-base program looks still more attractive, because usually it is
- more flexible, faster, easier to adapt to your needs.....
