  11. Actually, I would be happy if they got on either BITNET or Internet,
  12. as long as they have a fully configured listserv and possibly FTP
  13. Of the two, I prefer bitnet since I don't usually have to remove 3
  14. screens of routing info before processing an item.  and speaking as
  15. postmast - of the problems I've seen over the last 6 months,
  16. 1 percent were on bitnet, 99 percent on internet ( your experience
  17. may vary .... )

  19. the idea of putting each product/level as a separate list would
  20. keep the 'index' for each list manageable in size and avoid confusion
  21.  
  22. If SCI is hung up on limiting access to customers only, they can set
  23. the lists up private/confidential so they don't appear on any listserv
  24. menus/directories and provide an id to which we can send sub/unsub
  25. requests.
