- Oh, please, this is not an IBM problem, it is an intrinsic problem. As
- long as you have ONE application which has the ability to exceed user
- quotas one way or the other, clever users are going to abuse it. The
- problem did not start on IBM machines, I have a friend who works at a
- physics research lab where they only use VMS systems and every time I
- meet him he tells me about a new trick the physicists are using to use
- more space than they are allowed to. Believe me, there are many such
- tricks and they haven't even thought about using JNET for this yet, it is
- so inconvenient compared to their other "tricks"...
