- ================================ CUT HERE ================================
-
- Features added in POPmail II 2.06
-
- 1. It is now possible to view messages in the Message or Archive browser in
- three ways. They are by Date, (the default that POPmail has always used), by
- Subject and by whom the message is From. This is accessed by clicking on the
- From, Subject, or Date headers over the message index. These headers do not
- show in the Message or Archive browser windows if you have the skinny window
- sizer option selected.
-
- 2. It is possible to mark a message index line. This is done by selecting
- Mark (command-4) from the Mail menu. This appends to the end of the message
- index line the option-shift-v character in the Monaco font. It appears as an
- outline of a diamond shape at the end of the message index line. The mark can
- be removed by selecting Unmark (command-5) from the Mail menu. This can be
- used to signify a message needs more attention later. Perhaps for messages
- that have been read but not yet dealt with.
-
- 3. Added a page setup item to the file menu. Lets the user specify page
- orientation etc.
-
- 4. Print item in the file menu now brings up the print dialog box found in
- other programs. Lets the user specify how many copies etc.
-
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Changes
-
- 1. <Command-P> is now for Print... and <Command-T> is now for Post. Changed
- to conform to recommended Human Interface Guidelines from Apple Computer.
-
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Bugs Fixed
-
- 1. Memory loss that occurred with the built-in mail notification feature
- turned on has finally been fixed.
