  23. When a demo is looking for half and half memory it is looking for it in
  24. a certain sequence, the half meg fast and half meg chip can't be just 
  25. anywhere (because of the _artists_ program demos)  So, since you have a 
  26. full meg of Chip ram it wont run because it's looking for fast ram
  27. where the second half of your Chip ram is located.  (Am I making any
  28. sense? :)

  30. Please don't get puffy about demoists programing in an unstandard way, 
  31. (I'm not saying you are by any means) they don't charge anything for them
  32. and they do it as a form of art...  An art critic wouldn't complain that
  33. a painting wasn't good because a blind person couldn't see it.  (it's 
  34. as good an analogy as I could think of, please don't flame :)  In the same
  35. way, don't complain that you can't watch the demo because your system
  36. configuration won't allow it... at least you can go watch it on someone
  37. else's Amiga, the blind person still has to miss out on the painting.
