  13. Hello.  I saw the recent post about the distribution of the IRC primer
  14. in Postscript format.  I contacted the author of the primer to request
  15. that he send me a copy of it in LaTeX format when and if he could.  He
  16. told me that, before his access to the site his copy of the LaTeX
  17. format primer was on was disabled, he had sent a few copies of the
  18. LaTeX format primer out to some people.  Unfortunately, he had no
  19. recollection of who these people were; he suggested that my best
  20. option was to I post a request to alt.irc
  21.  
  22. If you have a copy of the IRC primer in LaTeX (NOT Postscript) format,
  23. and would be willing to give me a copy of it (via e-mail, anonymous
  24. FTP, IRC /dcc, or whatever), I would appreciate it greatly.  I would
  25. appreciate it if you would send me a brief note first instead of just
  26. sending the document; this way, I can hopefully get a copy from
  27. someone "close" to me rather than halfway across the world.  It will
  28. also insure that I don't get several copies of the same docuument.

  30. In return for your generosity, I will resend a copy of what you send
  31. me to everyone who sends me a request for the LaTeX format version of
  32. the primer via electronic mail to my primary electronic mail address,
  33. <justice@moeng2.morgan.edu>.  "Me too" requests posted to alt.irc or
  34. other Usenet news groups will be cheerfully ignored.  I will also try
  35. to get the csd.bu.edu IRC archives to install a copy of this version
  36. of the primer in their archives.
