  12. Does anyone know of a site which allows unlimited news access?  I used to 
  13. do the following:

  15. 'setenv NNTPSERVER news.cs.indiana.edu'

  17. and then xrn would allow me unlimited read access to all groups.  (rn wouldn't
  18. though, for some odd reason.)  Now, however, I am told that I do not have
  19. permission to use this machine.  Does anyone have another trick?  Email is
  20. appreciated; posting the news server wouldn't be a great idea because everyone
  21. would use it, and then tech staff would probably monitor its use.

  26. PS: Is it ethically acceptable for fellow-posters to alt.hackers to exchange 
  27.     posting methods?  (By email, of course!).  Obviously, I would expect to
  28.     see an article posted by him before revealing my own method.

  31. ObHack:  Writing a program which can convert postscript files to unformatted
  32. text (for viewing on a vt100, etc.).  Obviously, the program only works with
  33. text; it (hopefully) ignores graphics.
