- If your machine is powerful enough to run unix nicely it is powerful enough
- to run a BBS under Windows or something. Unfortunately most of the best
- BBS packages are written for DOS rather than Unix, so if that is what you
- want to do with you're machine you'd probably be better off with a DOS/Windows
- combination. Mind you, there's also the possibility of having dial-up access
- into your Unix machine if you set it up, then callers can use all the
- facilities of unix rather than just a BBS. Mail is part of the package,
- Newsgroups can be arranged, file transfers are just a matter of getting the
- right protocols.
