- Sorry about the truncated version. - g.

-
- I have recently been asked to hook up a PDP-11/04 to a Sun workstation
- so that data can be transferred between them. There is no documentation
- on the 11/04, but I know that there are lots of them still out there and
- lots of knowledgeable people, so I'm hoping for a little help.
-
- The only character I/O device on the 11/04 is the console, so my intent
- is to connect to the Sun by disconnecting the 11/04 console and hooking
- it to the Sun. The console is board is a 7856 and uses a 40-pin DIP
- connector. Is there anybody out there that knows what the pinout is
- and if it is EIA-232 compatible? Also, if you know of any comm software
- that is readily available, that would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance - g.
