- We have a problem with our SMTP mail.
-
- On most systems I have used, an undeliverable mail message is returned
- to the sender, and a copy of the rejection is also sent to the
- 'postmaster' of the rejecting host. On this machine, running VMS V5.2
- and Multinet V3.0A, no copy is being sent to the postmaster.
-
- I have tried to RTFM (Multinet) but can find no reference to having a
- copy sent to postmaster. We have postmaster defined to be a local user
- and anything mailed to postmaster is received there. Below is the header
- of a rejection message sent to a local user who subsequently forwarded
- it back. What has to be done to have an automatic CC: sent to
- postmaster? (I might add that no copy is going to SYSTEM instead.)
