  14. The Tar Heel Sports Car Club will be presenting The Moonlight Fling
  15. Road Rallye on Saturday, August 22.  This will be a trap-free,
  16. time-speed-distance rally with mileages given to every instruction. 
  17. There will be a separate class for novices and a free rallye school
  18. will be given before the rallye begins.  All you need is a street legal
  19. car or truck, a driver, a navigator, some way to read the instructions
  20. at night, some pens, pencils, highlighters, etc and a watch or clock. 
  21. The rallye is designed to be fun for novices and still be challenging
  22. for experienced rallyists.  Everyone is welcome.

  24. The start/finish is at the Pizza Hut on Estes Drive in Chapel Hill,
  25. near the University Mall.  Registration opens at 4:00 PM, the rally
  26. school runs from 4:45 to 5:30, the competitors' meeting is at 5:30 and
  27. the first car is off at 6:01.  The first car is due to finish around
  28. 9:30 PM.  The rallye covers approximately 90 miles of some of the
  29. triangle's more interesting paved and unpaved roads.  The entry fee is
  30. $10.00 per team if members of THSCC, and $15.00 per team otherwise. 
  31. Awards will be given in four classes-Class A (Equipped), Class B
  32. (Unequipped), Class C (Seat Of Pants) and Class D (Novice).
