- Well, it was interesting to compare the white-bread campus atmosphere with
- the surrounding neighbourhood (south central L.A.). More interesting were
- some of the stories in The Daily Trojan, the campus newspaper. The one most
- worthy of talk.bizarre: when a guy answered a knock at his door, he was
- chloroformed. When he woke up, his pants were around his ankles and he had
- been sodomized and then hog-tied.
