- By the way, a couple of months ago I wrote to (Colorado) Senator Hank
- Brown, a Republican, asking him to support the Freedom Of Choice Act.
- I received a reply from his office which outlined his position: he favors
- the FOCA provided that it does not receive any amendments which would
- make it stricter than Colorado's current [and liberal] abortion law,
- but opposes the use of federal funds for abortions. So Senator Brown
- is another Republican who opposes the abortion plank of the party
- platform.
