- I won't join the war over whether this interpretation is correct,
- but I have one question. Does anyone think that mental health is
- somehow less important than physical health? Would a severe post-
- partum depression not affect mother and child as much as a severe
- physical complication, in anyone's mind? Or could a mental health
- danger be easier to fabricate?

- (BTW, I got the new issue of _Current Directions in Psychological
- Science_ today, which has an article on women and depression. It
- briefly mentions effects of childbirth, abortion, infertility, etc.
