  24. Time for a little history lesson for those who don't get their California
  25. news from the OR propaganda.

  27. TOM Campbell (not John; strike one) did indeed lose the primary to Bruce
  28. Herschensohn in June.  He did so by one of the slimmest margins in Senate
  29. primary history; hardly being "burned...a new asshole", in your phrasing.

  31. Note also that John Seymour, the OTHER Republican primary winner in June,
  32. defeated his pro-life rivals by more than a two-to-one margin.

  34. And finally, note that both Seymour and Herschensohn are currently running 
  35. about as far behind their pro-choice Democratic opponents as Bush is behind
  36. Clinton.

  38. I don't know what point you were trying to make with your statement above,
  39. but something tells me you'd better rethink it.
