- database theory and advanced applications in such areas as Geographic
- Information Systems, CAD/CAM and AM/FM.
-
-
- TOPICS
-
- Submissions of papers presenting original research on spatial data
- management are invited.
-
- Topics of special relevance to the symposium include:
- * spatial data models and structures
- * spatial access methods
- * spatial query processing and transaction management
- * semantics of spatial databases
- * data representations and mapping between representations
- * user interfaces and languages
- * heterogeneous spatial databases
- * federated and interoperable spatial database management systems
-
- The proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag (Germany) in the
- Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series.
- Proposals for tutorials and panels are also invited and should be
- submitted to the respective Chairs.
-
-
-

- in South East Asia. Singapore has a tropical climate with a temperature
- range from 27 to 30 degree C throughout the whole year.
-
- Its location central to many other countries in the region will allow
- participants to combine SSD'93 with pre- or post-conference visits to many
- other fascinating vacation destinations. Accommodation will range from
- deluxe hotels to luxurious hotels. Special room rates in the conference
- hotel have been arranged for participants to the conference.
