  17. I agree with the paper idea.

  19. I now have changed my views on the size of the data being sent.  I
  20. just read an article about a new network called NREN being funded by
  21. the federal gov.  (to the tune of 5billion dollars, yes, that's 5 with
  22. nine zeros after it) This came about due to the efforts of my friend
  23. and yours, Sen. Gore.  The network uses fiber optic connections
  24. instead of the much slower copper ones. According to the article, info
  25. will be sent across the country at the rate of gigabytes of info in
  26. seconds.

  33. Has anyone considered the impact of VR on average-Joe-six-pack in the years
  34. to come?  (besides William Gibson, I haven't seen much interest in the
  35. psychological impacts) I would be interested in any research going on in 
  36. this direction.
