- The satellite was supposed to be deployed away from the earth rather
- than down into the upper atmosphere. It was not a success because the
- tether jammed when they tried to reel it out. A board of inquiry is
- investigating why this happened. None of the science objectives were
- achieved, but about 30 hours of data was collected which will be
- interesting for other scientific purposes.
