  11. We have a user here who would like some Gauss programs translated into
  12. Matlab programs (Pro-Matlab for Sun workstations, to be specific).
  13. Would it be feasible to write a translator program, perhaps in awk or
  14. perl, to do this?  I'm not a user of either package myself, but I'd
  15. imagine that the two languages are reasonably similar.  Are there
  16. non-obvious (or even obvious!) pitfalls involved?  Does anybody
  17. already have such a translator??
