- We have a user here who would like some Gauss programs translated into
- Matlab programs (Pro-Matlab for Sun workstations, to be specific).
- Would it be feasible to write a translator program, perhaps in awk or
- perl, to do this? I'm not a user of either package myself, but I'd
- imagine that the two languages are reasonably similar. Are there
- non-obvious (or even obvious!) pitfalls involved? Does anybody
- already have such a translator??
