See the book "Numerical Recipes" by (? -- don't have it handy but there
are four authors one of which is Press -- hopefully this is enough to
help pin down the book).  You should be able to find it in any good
technical bookstore.  Be careful as there are versions containing
C programs and fortran programs -- make sure you get/order the correct
one.
