- Ramanujan married early (22) and died young. If I remember
- correctly his wife is still alive.

- This reminds me of a similar story that was published recently
- in the Chemical & Eng. News. Apparently there was story running
- around that chemists have a disproportionate number of baby
- girls than boys - based on a few well known US chemists.
- When the matter was looked carefully with a large number of chemists
- the situation changed and it was found there was no valid
- basis to the observation at all!!
