- A friend of mine was interested at this problem too. He found
- some referrences from Carlsson in Duke Journal of Mathem. about
- 1960. He used Hypergeometrc series as I remember. Another
- good articel is in Canadian Mathematical Journal of D.Lehmer in
- 1950. He compares different approx. formulaes. But he only assume
- s that the excentricities are small :).
- My friend Torsten want an approx. formula with minimize the rel.
- error for all excentricities! BTW. If two of the axis of the
- ellipsoid are equal you can solve the surface integral algebraic!
