  16. The center of the Earth is at very high pressure.  It is trur that the
  17. value of g(r) at r=0 is 0.  But the pressure at the center is just the
  18. weight of the molecules at r>0 per unit area.  Molecules for all r>0
  19. ARE attracted to the center --- g(r)/=0 for r>0 --- thus there is a
  20. transmitted force toward the center and hence a very high pressure at
  21. the center.     Jim Green
