  38. Please realize that Silicon Valley is 40-50 miles south of Oakland, even 
  39. though I880 does go through both of them.

  41. As for public transit in the region, they are cutting back on the transit
  42. because less money is expected to be forthcoming from the state, IF we ever
  43. get a budget.
