- I am looking for a circuit that can be used to control the current
- delivered to a soldering iron tip from the ac line. The tip is not a
- regular heating element as in hand held soldering irons but it is the
- wire type found in
- the "handgun" style soldering irons. Anyway, I was looking for a simple
- circuit employing SCRs, Triacs, Diacs that can do the job. I am trying to
- control the current from 3 to 8 amps. Any suggestions? Please email to me.
- Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am not very familiar with
- circuits that use the above mentioned devices.
-
- Thanks in advance.
