  11. I do not claim to be an expert on this, but I thought that I would
  12. throw in a data point.

  14. I used 100 feet of unshielded phone wire (radio shack 22 g.) at 9600
  15. baud with no difficulty.  There were no errors, even while doing file
  16. xfer, no interference from or to the cable.

  20. I remember being led to believe, on the basis of a table in the Kermit
  21. book (yellow cover) that I would have spotty results with 9600/100 ft.
