- When you see these "mountains", does the picture distort--does it look like it's "scrunching" up from the bottom? Two things come to mind re causes:

- 1) The TV's degaussing coil is stuck on; this would cause _color_
- distortion, though.
- 2) An open capacitor in the power supply is causing a _very_ bad case of hum.

- These are generalities: I've never had the pleasure of working on sets in the UK <grin>.
