- I need to supply 5-8V DC at current of 0.7mA avg, 2mA max from the line
- (220V here) voltage. Since the current is very low, I thought to use a
- diode-resistor-zener+capacitor as a power supply instead of a tranformer.
- What are the disadventages, dangers, etc. inbvolved?
- Is there other simple way to do this?
-
- Please email and I'll summarize if there are enough responses.
