  11. All this talk of cosmology and theories that unambiguously
  12. predict the current state of the universe has made me think
  13. of the anthropic principle.

  15. What do you netters think of the anthropic principle? (AP for short)
  16. That is the idea that the universe is the way it is because
  17. we are here to observe it.  If it were different we wouldn't
  18. be here.

  20. Some find the AP anathema.  Some find it tautology.  I think 
  21. there is possibly something there, or maybe its a tautology :-)
