- This observation is of a rare and unusual type.

- Actually, now when I'm asked can sun spots be seen with the unaided
- eye I can say YES I got a report from someone who did it. Also I've wondered
- if I could see one through the morning fog. Now I'll try it. And lastly,
- this observation confirms the notion that pre-optical aid astronomers could
- have noted sunspots and will give the archeo-astronomers more clues as to the
- suns activity based on the writings of the greeks, chinese and the rest.
