- Perseids - August 11/12 1992

- Although I was plagued by an 80% cloudy sky, I watched for Perseids
- anyway and was rewarded with some very bright meteors. Between 4:03 am
- and 5:03 am EDT I saw six meteors, five of which were Perseids. One was
- -3 magnitude, another -2, one -1, and two 1st magnitude! Four of the five
- left persistent trains; and the train for the -3 Perseid shone through
- the clouds!
