- Carl Kadie asks for a policy that would include the Boy Scouts but
- exclude the KKK youth organization from Bank of America grants.
- This is unnecessary, since the Bank of America is a private organization
- and may make grants, within its policy guidelines, to whomever it
- likes. Any such guidelines say who is excluded, but not who
- WILL receive grants, and are there simply to indicate who "need not
- apply." Further, they may be changed at will, as we have seen.
-
- Thus the grant-making body of the Bank may refuse to give to the KKK
- and need not say why. It's still a free country.
