- I think height is as important as weight. A person is unlikely to break a
- three hour marathon unless they are lighter than average for their height.
- For example, for my height 5'10", average is about 163 and the healthy range
- 145-180. People in the lower half of healthy have an easier time running
- than in the high half. You want to bump these numbers up two or three pounds
- for every additional inch of height.
