- I hate to say it, but REST is about the only thing that will cure
- ham string injuries.

- VERY gentle stretching with NO bouncing helps and so does fairly deep
- massage. As I'm a bit into b pain, I like Rolfing... it hurts like
- hell, but does seem to break down scar tissue.

- A switch to swimming will keep you aerobically fit, and kicking will
- give your abdominals and quads a fair work out till you can get back
- on the trail.

- Running surfacr is important too. Soft and o forvgiving is the best.
- Run through the woods if you can. Not only is it good for your brain,\
- and soul, it's easy on your legs.

- Leg curls with weights helps, but start light unless you've been lifting
- for a time.
