- I happen to be building a robot. Now i know this is out of
- category but I just realized someone in here may be able to help
- me out.
-
- Fist does anyone know of some mail order companies who supply
- DC motors in all different sizes. I need one that supplies
- information such as torque. I live in Canada so that every time
- i look for something it takes forever.
-
- On the same note i need a catalog on small transmissions. The
- types that dc car modelers use. Essentialy I need to route
- the power of a dc motor about 90 deg. and I may need to
- change its gear ratio so as to increase torque. All the guys
- in the robotics section gave me suppliers for aluminum and
- stainless steel gear supliers. But these supply things either
- too big, to heavy or way too expensive. But I notices
- something similar to what I need to my TYCO rc car.
-
-
- Any help would be deeply apreciated.
- ROB.
