  14. The ACE T34 kit (which I have, and is my only foam core experience), has a foam
  15. core wing with 1/16 balsa over it. I can personally and thankfully attest to the
  16. fact that it is stronger than h*ll. Mine is covered with MonoKote, which I would
  17. do again, but next time after a lot more thorough sanding.

  19. BTW, the leading edge is a pretty significant chunk of balsa block that had to
  20. be hand carved. Lotsa work but the results are great...
