- Just walk behind the counter and look in the book for yourself.
- You need to stay within the same engine family (V-8, 4, etc) but
- most any will work. I'm quite fond of the one used on the Dodge Laser
- turbo. Fairly broad band so it will work on a lot of engines.

- You'll have to sync the display to the ignition timing for it to be
- meaningful. Look at about 5 degrees before ignition to about 20
- degrees after. If you don't gate, you'll be swamped by engine mechanical
- noise. This is the voice of experience. You really need to do waveform
- analysis, as you will see when you hook the Tek up but that's a lot of
- work.
