- I had a similar problem with my Mustang. After trying all sorts of rods
- and the like in an attempt to release the spring, I just unzipped the seat
- fabric from the seatback and stuck my hand in with a screwdriver and was able
- to release the spring tension enough to pull out the headrest. Try this out.
