  10. I want to change the (power) steering gear box on my car.. '79chevy malibu.
  11. I can't find  anything on it in my Chilton's manual.  So, if you have ever
  12. done this or taken  apart this part  of the front end, I would appreciate
  13. any information.   I guess I'd like to know how much is involved
  14. before I dive in :-).  My feeling is that the couplings should all
  15. be splines, and so am I wrong in guessing that all that will have to be
  16. done is to pop off the hoses, then the old gear box and put in the new one
  17. (ie is it as straightforward as taking  off a rear drive shaft?) or will it
  18. be lots of fasteners in impossible places with exact spec 
  19. nuts  & bolts to be attached?
