  21. Here is some guidelines to start with.  Perhaps John De Armond
  22. (jgd@dixie.comz) can varify/add to this.  He done some testing on the
  23. effects on fuel injectors, etc..

  25. For gas-line dryers:
  26. OK = Isopropyl alcohol.
  27. Avoid = ethanol and methanol.
  28.  
  29. The non-dryer type stuff for cleaning fuel systems:
  30. OK = Naphtha, Toluene, Xylene, various ethers, 
  31. Should be OK = Aromatic solvents, petroleum distilates.
  32.                (This stuff could be many things but the families
  33.                 should be OK.)
  34. Avoid? = Acetone, MEK Methyl Ethyl Ketone.  (I'm not sure on this.)

  41. No.  It stops pinging by slightly raising the octane rating with one
  42. of it's additives or cleaning deposits off of various parts.
