- Hi all!
-
- I find it gravely humorous to find that the engine I just bought (1984
- Olds Omega w/ 2.8L V-6) has been referred to as the "Engine from Hell"...
-
- Anyhow, this thing is leaking oil. It appears to leak around the valve
- covers, but we haven't really cleaned anything up to check for sure.
-
- My dad claims (from the "old days") that Chevy engines always leak oil
- at the valve covers. Is this common on the 2.8 V6? How much trouble
- would it be to replace the gaskets? (hopefully easier than the back
- spark plugs... :-).
-
- Any replies welcomed...
