  15. I find it gravely humorous to find that the engine I just bought (1984
  16. Olds Omega w/ 2.8L V-6) has been referred to as the "Engine from Hell"...

  18. Anyhow, this thing is leaking oil.  It appears to leak around the valve
  19. covers, but we haven't really cleaned anything up to check for sure.

  21. My dad claims (from the "old days") that Chevy engines always leak oil
  22. at the valve covers.  Is this common on the 2.8 V6?  How much trouble 
  23. would it be to replace the gaskets?  (hopefully easier than the back
  24. spark plugs... :-).
