- :GT+4 P205/55VR16. Have they stopped putting the "V" on the tire size? What I
- :got from tire rack says P205/55R16, then in smaller letters "89V". My
- :original tires also have the 89V, but have the "V" in the size designation
- :as well. Can I assume that the tire I got is actually V rated even though
- :the "V" is not in the size designation on the tire?
-
- i have a set of goodrich tires, similarly marked ( no 'v' in the size,
- but a small v elsewhere ) Judging by the price i paid, i am confident
- that these are not 'v' speed rated tires.
-
- Anybody want to guess what that "89V" stands for?
