  14. :GT+4 P205/55VR16. Have they stopped putting the "V" on the tire size? What I 
  15. :got from tire rack says P205/55R16, then in smaller letters "89V". My 
  16. :original tires also have the 89V, but have the "V" in the size designation 
  17. :as well. Can I assume that the tire I got is actually V rated even though 
  18. :the  "V" is not in the size designation on the tire?

  20. i have a set of goodrich tires, similarly marked ( no 'v' in the size,
  21. but a small v elsewhere )  Judging by the price i paid, i am confident
  22. that these are not 'v' speed rated tires.

  24. Anybody want to guess what that "89V" stands for?
