  27. WRT finding Velodyne at a discount, I posted a similar request a while
  28. back and got zip.  My wife called their main office 408-436-7270 and
  29. got a list of dealers in our area (Pittsburgh).  All wanted list price.
  30. She called back and got even more dealers.  One in Virginia Beach, VA.
  31. was finally willing to discount, but I think maybe only 10%.  Sorry,
  32. but I can't find the dealer's name or phone right now.  We ended up
  33. ordering from this dealer, and he had the unit we wanted in stock and
  34. shipped promptly.  It works and we are quite pleased.  In case you're
  35. an electrical type, Velodyne does not give out schematics.  Repair is
  36. only by their authorized service centers (in case that would affect
  37. your purchasing decision.)
