- OK, I bought my first (and only) stereo system 20 yrs ago from DIXIE
- Warehouse in Wash DC (does anyone remember them?). It is now time
- to upgrade. I do not have the time to invest in scoping out the best
- deals so I am asking for a little advice. I am not looking for the
- "best" in components but I do have a somewhat critical ear and would
- like to buy "good" quality. (I am replacing a Dual turntable, KLH
- receiver, Dokorder reel-to-reel, and ADC speakers.) I would like to
- start by buying a double cassette deck. something that makes good
- copies of my LP's but also has high-speed dubbing for my books-in-tape.
- If any of you know of a good sale on a good deck, please let me
- know. If I receive separate e-mail, I will post a summary here.
- thanks
