- That's exactly what it is. A few nice stores and restaurants, but if you
- go down their on a Saturday night, the people aren't there for the stores
- and restaurants, they're there for the people. Which leads to the
- conclusion that people seem to go down there because they think it is 'the
- place to be'.
-
- In contrast, if you go to a place like New Hope, which certainly isn't
- South Street, the majority of the people are there for the stores - to a
- lesser degree for the people. Each place attracts it's own type of crowd
- for its own reasons, is what I guess I'm trying to say.
-
- Also - have people noticed the subtle change in crowd at South Street over
- the past few years? Seems to attract a large amount of racing motorcycle
- types than I ever noticed before - pretty annoying to have so much noise in
- such a small area.
