  12. I just received another solicitation from the National Writers
  13. Union. From their literature, they seem a bit militant--are horror
  14. stories the way *all* unions encourage membership?-- and
  15. dues seem steep.

  17. Has anyone heard of this group?  Is anyone a member?  If so, is
  18. it worth it?  What are the alternatives--besides not joining
  19. anything that is?
