  17. Couldn't agree more.  Being a technical writer (actually a linguist) in
  18. a environment of programmers I had great trouble convincing my boss (a
  19. programmer) that I needed good (= expensive) dictionaries.  Now some of
  20. my programmer colleagues also consult these dictionaries 'for fun'.

  23. I actually have several dictionaries for each language I read or write
  24. - I use them all.  I'm thinking of buying the American Heritage
  25. Dictionary's newest edition.  Does anyone know this one?
