  20. As I am sure you know, keeping pace with developments in technology is
  21. increasingly hard to do, especially with machines becoming obsolete so
  22. quickly, and prices rising as they are.  Public schools are suffering
  23. in this area too - keeping up-to-date machines is impossible at this
  24. level, without help.

  26. Keeping a good computer education now requires machines that run on
  27. Unix.  In just a few years, most computer systems will probably be
  28. running some form of Unix as a base.  Because of this, and the
  29. flexibility Unix can offer in many ways, Unix is essential.

  31. Two students at a California school, Morro Bay High School, have seen
  32. this, and are trying to keep the school up-to-date as much as possible
  33. with their current budget.  Unfortunately, this requires getting
  34. machines for nothing.
  35.  
  36. If you have a Unix based machine that you would like to donate to this
  37. cause, preferably a Sun pre-SPARC machine, please mail one of the
  38. following addresses.
