- OBJECTIVE:
-
- An engineering position which utilizes my skills in the development of
- software and hardware for fault isolation in electronic circuits using
- automated test equipment .
-
- SUMMARY:
-
- Experienced in the development of hardware and software for the analysis
- and test of electronic circuitry using a GenRad 1796 test station,
- IEEE-488 peripheral devices, and software tools. Circuit cards tested
- include digital, analog and mixed-signal circuits, Programmable Devices,
- and Video Generation Circuitry.
-
- COMPUTER EXPERIENCE :
-
- C, Pascal, Basic, GenRad 1796 Test Language, DOS, UNIX, NextStep, DEC
- OS-2, ORCAD electronics drafting package and PSpice circuit simulation
- package.
-
- TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
-
- Jan. 1991- ASSOCIATE ENGINEER (ETA Technologies Corporation - San
- Present Antonio, Texas)
-
-
- Analyzed microprocessor-based circuit card schematics, developed a testing
- scheme, developed a test program to implement the scheme, and designed
- an Interface Test Adapter to interconnect a GenRad 1796 test station with
- each circuit card. Developed a test-station program implementing the
- testing scheme using both component modeling and functional test methods.
- Wrote documentation for the Air Force explaining test operation
- procedures.
-
- Instructed engineers in the test station language, configuration, and
- operation. Reviewed test station programs and debugged if needed.
- Reviewed Test Program documentation for technical accuracy and correct
- format.
-
- Saved approximately ten-thousand dollars for the company by
- troubleshooting and repairing test station hardware and software. Received
- company award for significant contribution and top production.
-
- Jan. 1989- CO-OP (Datapoint Corporation - San Antonio, TX.)
- May 1989
-
- Procured parts for both an enhanced ARCNET signaling board and a new Token
- Ring board. Drafted schematics, using DAISY, to implement design changes
- according to the engineering change orders. Replaced damaged circuit card
- components.
-
- EDUCATION :
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- The University of Texas at San Antonio - 1990.
