  30. Mistakes happen in war, even to the best and most expereinced air-forces.
  31. On the six-day war, Israeli jets starfed an Israeli armored column. In
  32. the 1982 war in Lebanon, 25 Israeli soldiers were killed within a few
  33. minutes when Israeli Phantom jets mistakengly took them to be Syrian
  34. troops.

  36. I don't know what to make of your post. I guess we are allowed to assume
  37. now that the botched attempt at releasing the US hostages at Teheran
  38. reflects on the average capability of the US army, and that the Mai-Lai
  39. massacare reflects on the average moral of US soldiers. I think neither
  40. of the above is true, but following your theory that a function can be
  41. fully reconstructed from its minimas, well... take your choice.
